YRP UNL to attend “2020 TRON Symposium -TRON SHOW-”.

YRP UNL will hold a display booth at TRON Symposium “2020 TRON Symposium -TRON SHOW-” which will be held for 3 days from December 9 (Wed), 2020.

TRON Symposium is sponsored by TRON Forum and is also commonly referred to as TRONSHOW. In this symposium, Aggregate Computing, Open IoT, the IoS (Internet of Services), open data, etc., are showcased. These concepts have been advocated by TRON Project *, and YRP UNL has also contributed to their research and development. Companies and research groups that are at forefront of the IoT, embedded systems and/or AI will hold the exhibitions and give technical presentations. This year, “DX”, especially “digital transformation” that combines real and virtual, will also be featured.

In addition to basic research in the IoT field, YRP UNL conducts applied research and consultation. At the venue, we will highlight Aggregate Computing, real-time edge nodes, and a personal data protection mechanism.

※TRON Project is a project to realize “computer everywhere” – the IoT (The Internet of Things), or the ubiquitous computing environment based on “Open Architecture” philosophy.

The symposium is planned to be held at Tokyo Midtown Hall and also online, but is subject to change and possibly be held only online due to the trend of COVID-19 outbreak. For details, please visit the “2020 TRON Symposium -TRON SHOW-” website.
