TRON Real-Time OS Family Recognized as an IEEE Milestone

IEEE has recognized the TRON real-time OS family as an IEEE Milestone. The reason for this recognition is that the TRON real-time OS family has had a significant impact on the industry over a long period of time.
A ceremony to present the IEEE Milestone plaque is planned in October.

The TRON real-time OS family has been created for embedded systems by TRON Project. The director of the YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory (UNL), Ken Sakamura, is the leader of the TRON Project.

YPR UNL has participated in the development and dissemination of the TRON real-time OS family as a TRON Project member and has used the OS family for its internal projects. YRP UNL shall continue its efforts to make the TRON real-time OS family useful to world’s industry.
