TRON Programming Contest 2025 Under Way

TRON Forum (https://www.tron.org/), of which YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory (YRP UNL) is an Executive Committee member, is holding the “TRON Programming Contest 2025.”

In this contest, contestants compete in technology, such as applications and development environments using “μT-Kernel 3.0,” the world standard real-time OS (RTOS) and the latest microprocessor boards.

Under the theme for 2025 “TRON × AI — Utilizing AI,” innovative ideas that incorporate AI technology are called for.

YRP UNL supports the contest as an Executive Committee member of the Forum and promotes technological innovation in embedded systems.

The contest will begin on January 21, 2025, and the registration entry period is until April 30, while the program submission period is from May 30 to September 30.

Total prize is five million Japanese yen. In this contest, engineers, students, etc. from Japan and overseas can participate.
