As a result, from July 3, 2024, real-time location information for \u201cKiyo Bus\u201d has been posted on the Google Maps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GTFS real-time data for \u201cKiyo Bus\u201d is transmitted via a simple bus location system that uses smartphones, developed by YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory (UNL). This system was developed as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism&#8217;s \u201cResearch and Study on the Open Distribution of Dynamic Data in the Public Transportation Sector\u201d project (tentative English project name: the original Japanese title is \u201c\u516c\u5171\u4ea4\u901a\u5206\u91ce\u306b\u304a\u3051\u308b\u52d5\u7684\u30c7\u30fc\u30bf\u306e\u30aa\u30fc\u30d7\u30f3\u306a\u6d41\u901a\u306b\u95a2\u3059\u308b\u8abf\u67fb\u691c\u8a0e\u696d\u52d9\u201d), and it supports small-scale public transportation operators such as community bus services in transmitting real-time public transportation data at low cost.
